"Got new gutters with leaf guards installed. Very thorough and professional. After seeing that the 'leaf guards' did a great job of blocking the snow from melting into the gutters and allowing the water to drip as if there were no gutters, I told the that this was not what I wanted. They assured me that it is normal and will not happen all the time. After several snowfalls that dumped more water over the gutter than into it, I called and asked to have the hoods removed. They got out as soon as they could and did just that. Just waiting on more rain to make sure there are no other issues, but it looks good for now."
